MEET
MICHELLE VELASQUEZ, MD
Dr. Velasquez is a Board Certified Family Physician who recently relocated to Arizona from Buffalo, New York after being in private practice for almost six years.
She grew up in Indiana and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Indiana University, Bloomington. She attended medical school at the University of the Philippines in Manila where she was awarded the Most Outstanding Intern in the Department of Psychiatry. She completed three years of Family Medicine Residency at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in Niagara Falls, New York and served as their chief resident in her last year.
Dr. Velasquez enjoys the full spectrum of Family Medicine, particularly treating multiple generations of family members and building lasting relationships. She is also interested in preventive medicine, promoting adolescent wellness and women’s health.
Dr. Velasquez is married with three beautiful girls and cherishes priceless family time with them the most. She also lives for family reunions with her parents and 8 other siblings and their families. Her other interests are cooking, playing tennis, golf and the personal challenge of the sport of Crossfit.
