Dr. Patricia Rodriguez is Colombian and was raised locally in Peoria, AZ. She graduated Suma Cum Laude from Arizona State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Cellular Biology and Physiology with a minor in Spanish. After college, Dr. Rodriguez worked as a physical rehab technician for two years.
Dr. Rodriguez received her medical degree from the University of Arizona – Tucson. She was involved with multiple community service activities and served a 1-year term as the Latina Medical Student Representative for Arizona. Dr. Rodriguez was honored numerous awards and distinctions including the Outstanding Graduate Award and Outstanding Community Scholar Award. She was also elected into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Rodriguez is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician. She completed her 3 years of residency at Banner Good Samaritan. During her residency, Dr. Rodriguez pursued additional training in breastfeeding, diagnostic colposcopies and contraceptive procedures including the Nexplanon.
In addition to women’s health, Dr. Patricia Rodriguez has a passion for family planning, preventative care and adolescent medicine.
Dr. Rodriguez is married and the mother of three beautiful daughters. She is well known for her good-natured, positive personality and strives to bring the best out of people. Outside of the office, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys time with her loving family, dancing, taking walks and cooking new recipes.
