Dr. Nisha Patel attended St. George’s University Medical School and graduated with a dual degree in Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health in 2012. After medical school, she completed her Family Medicine residency at West Virginia University in Harper’s Ferry, WV in 2015. There she was awarded the Resident Teaching Award two years in a row, nominated by her peers and medical students. She practiced as a full time Family Medicine Physician at Geisinger Medical Center from 2015 to 2017 before moving to Arizona. In Tucson, she practiced at Arizona Community Physicians as a full time physician and then as their Chief Medical Information Officer from 2019 to 2023.

Dr. Patel is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who specializes in preventive health care, complex disease management and pediatric/women’s health.

Dr. Patel is married with 2 children. She enjoys a variety of activities outside of medicine including traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
